Our First Term: Listening, Leading
and Delivering for Ward 14
When I first knocked on doors throughout Ward 14, I asked a simple question: "What do you need from your Councilor?"
The answers were remarkably consistent. Residents wanted a Councilor who was accessible, responsive, and willing to fight for the neighborhood. They wanted someone who would answer the phone, return emails, attend community meetings, and be present when issues arose.
They also shared growing concerns about the changing character of our neighborhood. The continued expansion of off-campus student housing, increasing traffic and parking pressures, quality-of-life concerns, and the impact of large institutional growth were affecting the stability of the communities many families had spent generations building.
Over the past four years, I have worked every day to address those concerns while ensuring Ward 14 has a strong voice at City Hall.
